Thread rollers are cutting tools to cut thread by means of plastic deformation process, knurling. Rollers are made in the form of cylindrical disks, which have external surface with single-start or multi-start thread or ring shaped flighting. The size of the rollers does not depend on the rolling method, type of thread required or the design of the equipment produced.
