Stamping is the plastic moulding of a workpiece to a specified size, either hot or cold. Depending on the type of workpiece to be produced, a distinction is made between sheet metal forming and volumetric forming. The sheet metal forming process is used for sheets, strips and bands, while the volumetric process is used for rolled sections (round, square and rectangular) and rods.
Gomel Special Tooling and Tooling Plant applies progressive technology of die manufacturing using high-precision equipment of German and Swiss manufacture, electric erosion machines Robofil-290R, Roboform-22, machining centres Hermle and Deckel-maho allow machining critical parts of dies with especially high precision in heat-treated condition.
The use of progressive equipment in the production process enables die making with a high degree of functional reliability, as the machining centres and CNC electro-erosion machines used make it possible to manufacture moulds with working windows of complex shape and high precision.
We are able to manufacture hot forging dies: hammer dies for hammers with a mass of the moving parts of 1000 kg, 2000 kg, 3150 kg, 5000 kg - single-stranded, - multi-stranded. The accuracy of preliminary and final roughing-arms is of the 12th quality. The maximum displacement of the figure of the upper half of the stamp to the lower half in any directions, for hammers up to 2000 kg - 0,2 mm, for hammers over 2000 kg to 5000 kg - 0,3 mm. Stamps for hot stamping crank presses, upsetting dies for horizontal forging machines.
Cold sheetmetal presses up to 20 tonnes: - simple, - sequential, combined and combined.
